Types of ACC Membership

The commission offers four levels of membership to qualified educational organizations and certification boards:

  1. Accredited Members have completed the process to become fully accredited.

  2. Provisional Members are those organizations who are in the process of completing the requirements to become fully accredited.
     
  3. Associate Members are those organizations who support the mission of the Commission. Associate Members may be organizations in the industries served by the Commission, but this is not a requirement.

The Accreditation Process

The process to become accredited can be time-consuming and tedious. Our suggestion is to do one thing at a time in the following manner:

  1. Become a Provisional Member of the Commission

  2. Review the instructions for completing the application for educational organizations or certification agencies.

  3. Pull together one copy of all of the documents you need for your application and number them 1-19 according to the requirements of each section.

  4. Where the answer to a question is in one of your documents, head up a blank sheet of paper with the Section Number and Requirement Number and state in the body of the paper: See Document #  and add the number of the document.

  5. Assign one person to be responsible for pulling the application together.  Then assign one knowledgeable person to each section.

  6. hen in doubt, say as little as you have to say to answer the question. Our staff will ask for additional information on those items where more information is required.

  7. When in doubt, ask a question by sending an e-mail toadmin@2accredit.com and one of our experts will be assigned to assist you. You may add any e-mail communications as an addendum to or as a part of any document.

  8. The major concerns of the Commission are the quality of the blueprint or curriculum, the level of professionalism demonstrated by your organization, the level of professionalism required of your students or certified graduates, the ethical standards modeled by your organization and the ethical standard you require of your students and graduates

  9. Mail your completed application to headquarters or e-mail it as attachments to admin@agr8.org (no spaces in e-mail address.)
